In a chilling discovery, the bodies of TikToker Seema Khaskheli and her fiancé, Zafar Abbas Hajano, were found with torture marks inside the trunk of car parked along a desolate stretch of the old National Highway. The victims, were discovered near Irani Kosar Hospital in Khairpur district on Saturday.
The grim find was made by officials from the A-Section police station, who reported that the bodies appeared to be three days old, while the car had been parked at the location for two days. The police swiftly moved the bodies to Khairpur Civil Hospital for a postmortem examination to determine the cause of death.
SHO Iqbal Noon, leading the investigation, suggested that the murders might be linked to personal enmity, but cautioned that it was too early to establish a definitive motive. Meanwhile, Seema’s family has pointed to a matrimonial dispute as a possible reason for the brutal killings.
The popular TikToker, Seema Khaskheli hailed from Ghariabad Colony in Khairpur, while her fiancé, Zafar Abbas Hajano, was a resident of Rind Hajano village in Kotdiji taluka. According to Seema’s parents, she had previously been married to Yaseen Indher from Pannu Aqil but divorced him after falling in love with Hajano. The couple was reportedly planning to marry soon.
The family recounted that Seema had left for the Bazaar three days prior and had not returned home, prompting a frantic search. However, it remains unclear whether they reported her disappearance to the local police. The tragic news of her fate only reached them on Saturday when authorities informed them of the discovery of her body alongside Hajano’s.
Following the postmortem and completion of legal formalities, the police released the bodies to their respective families. The investigation is ongoing, with authorities exploring various angles to uncover the truth behind the double murder.
Seema’s grieving parents have made a heartfelt appeal to the Sukkur DIG and Khairpur SSP, urging them to ensure a thorough and impartial investigation to bring the perpetrators to justice.
