A troop of monkeys became unlikely heroes, saving a six-year-old girl from a horrific sexual assault in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh in India. The shocking incident unfolded over the weekend, leaving the local community in disbelief and sparking a manhunt for the alleged predator.
According to reports, the young girl was lured to an abandoned house by a man with sinister intentions. Once there, the fiend allegedly tore off her clothes and attempted to commit an unspeakable act. But just as the situation seemed dire, a group of monkeys intervened, causing the attacker to flee in panic.

The girl’s father, speaking to local India media, expressed his profound gratitude for the monkeys. “My daughter would have been dead by now if the monkeys had not intervened,” he said, his voice filled with both relief and anger. He recounted how his daughter had been playing outside when the man approached her, threatening her with harm to her family if she resisted.
The chilling episode was partially captured on CCTV, showing the suspect walking hand-in-hand with the little girl down a narrow lane in Doula village. Despite the footage, police have yet to identify the man, who is believed to be from a neighboring village.
