Disturbing viral footage from Karachi shows a woman driving an SUV and running over five people on Karsaz Road. The driver, identified as Natasha, the wife of Danish Iqbal, chairman of Gul Ahmed Energy Limited, has been booked for manslaughter following the deadly accident.

The tragic event unfolded when Natasha, allegedly drunk, drove her Toyota Land Cruiser Prado into a motorcycle carrying a university student Amina Arif, and her father, Imran Arif. Both were killed in the crash, while three other bystanders sustained injuries, with one in critical condition. Eyewitnesses reported that Natasha attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended by the locals.

The Bahadurabad police station has confirmed Natasha’s arrest, and an FIR has been filed against her. The charges include sections 320 (punishment for qatl-i-khata by rash or negligent driving), 337-G (punishment for hurt by rash or negligent driving), 279 (rash driving or riding on a public way), and 427 (mischief causing damage) of the Pakistan Penal Code. The complaint was lodged by Imtiaz Arif, the brother of the deceased Imran Arif.

According to the FIR, the accident occurred around 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Imran Arif and his daughter were riding a motorcycle when Natasha’s SUV struck them from behind. The impact resulted in severe injuries, leading to their deaths. Another motorcyclist, Abdussalam, was also injured in the incident.

The viral incident on Karsaz Road, Karachi has ignited a firestorm on social media, with many criticizing the perceived preferential treatment Natasha is receiving due to her influential connections. Allegations have surfaced that she is being held in a comfortable room at the police station rather than a standard cell, prompting accusations of bias and inequality in the justice system.
